Job Summary:

The Account Manager will act as in-house support for Hosted Travel Advisors/Independent Contractors (ICs) for Host Agencies. The role will include managing and building relationships within the Host Agency space. The Account Manager role will be responsible but not limited to; qualify hosted advisors and communicating leads to Business Development Managers, training hosted advisors, communicating data issues within host agencies with our data teams, collaborate with internal stakeholder departments, assist in Hosted Agency marketing strategies, maintain knowledge base in regards to hosted advisor partnerships, increase Collette’s brand presence in the Host Agency market, attend partner conferences/functions with Host Agency as required.

Primary Functions:

  • Act as the main internal resource for hosted advisors/Independent Contractors (ICs).
  • Act as liaison between ICs and necessary business units to properly service the travel advisor.
  • Utilize qualifying tools to identify top advisors within Host Agency and prioritize based on quality.
  • Educate ICs on current marketing initiatives, Collette product and sales tools.
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Outside Sales, and Business Development to maintain partnership knowledge.
  • Act as the voice for the ICs in order to drive Collette’s strategy in this market.
  • Track and record trends within the host agency market and share with Supplier Relationship Manager.
  • Execute special outbound marketing campaigns utilizing all communications tools available (ie social media, video etc)
  • Act as Brand Ambassador for Collette.
  • Work with necessary data teams to assist with maintaining host agency database in CRM.
  • Work with the sales team on building a strategy to collaborate with key advisors.
  • Master agent policies, processes, and procedures including; commissions and comp strategies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong phone presence in addition to experience with service and sales
  • Excellent verbal, written and video communications skills
  • Critical thinking skills required; must be able to solve problems on their own
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated; takes initiative
  • Excels in collaborative team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Have strong PC skills (MS office, social media platforms)
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments
  • Availability to travel to conferences and sales meetings as directed
  • Capability to work remotely
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • One to three years’ experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
